LSD | ACID

Lithium: Lithium is often prescribed for bipolar disorder treatment. However, extensive anecdotal evidence suggests that combining it with psychedelics significantly heightens the risk of psychosis and seizures. Hence, this combination should be strictly avoided.

Tricyclic antidepressants: Tricyclic antidepressants enhance physical, hallucinatory, and psychological responses to LSD. Anecdotal reports indicate that combining TCAs with LSD increases the likelihood of negative experiences such as bad trips and psychosis. Due to the similarity in symptoms induced by lithium and LSD, the risk of seizures cannot be discounted. Therefore, this combination should be avoided.

Tramadol: Tramadol is known to lower the seizure threshold in individuals, and LSD also has the potential to trigger seizures in susceptible individuals. Hence, combining tramadol with LSD poses additional risks.

Ritonavir: Severe vascular constriction has been reported when ergolines are taken in combination with ritonavir. Although it's uncertain if this extends to LSD, caution is strongly advised.

Deliriants (e.g., diphenhydramine, scopolamine): Deliriants should generally not be mixed with other substances, but their combination with psychedelics may pose added risks. This mix can elevate the risk of anxiety, delusions, mania, psychosis, and serotonin syndrome.

Cannabis: Combining cannabis with LSD has a potent synergistic effect. While often used to enhance or prolong LSD's effects, this combination heightens the risk of adverse psychological reactions such as anxiety, paranoia, panic attacks, and psychosis. Anecdotal reports frequently attribute cannabis use as the catalyst for a negative trip or psychosis. 

Caution is advised.

Stimulants (e.g., amphetamine, cocaine, methylphenidate): Stimulants can intensify LSD's euphoric effects but also heighten anxiety levels and increase the risk of paranoia, thought loops, and psychosis, especially during the comedown phase. This risk may be higher with LSD due to its direct influence on dopamine pathways. Therefore, combining stimulants with LSD is generally discouraged.
